Best Recipe for Game Day Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 pound All Natural 80% Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons onion, minced
  • 2 tablespoons jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional: keep seeds for a spicier patty)
  • 1 teaspoon Stonemill Iodized Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Stonemill Ground Black Pepper
  • 4 ounces Appleton Farms Premium Sliced Bacon
  • 1 tube Bake House creations Jumbo Flaky Biscuits
  • 1 tablespoon Carlini Pure Olive Oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 slices Specially Selected Deli Sliced Havarti, cut in half*
  • 4 teaspoons Burman's Steak Sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic, minced onion, jalapeño, salt and pepper. Divide the meat into 8 equal portions. Shape each portion into a 1/2-inch patty.
  2. Cook the bacon until crisp. Crumble, set aside.
  3. Bake biscuits according to package directions.
  4. In a small saute pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and cook until tender.
  5. Grill, pan fry or broil the patties until desired doneness (150 degrees for medium).
  6. To assemble the sliders, break each biscuit in half and layer as follows: bottom half of biscuit, 1 tablespoon sauteed onion, 1 tablespoon bacon, slider patty, Havarti, 1/2 teaspoon steak sauce, top half of biscuit.
