Best Recipe for Vegetarian Dashi
Ingredients
- 1 small piece (4 to 5 square inch) kombu (dried, cultivated kelp or seaweed)
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup vegetable stock
Instructions
- Place kombu in a saucepan with water and bring to a boil. Reduce mixture to a low simmer and allow to simmer for several hours. Add stock. Return mixture to the boil and then remove from heat.
